Paul began working in the financial services industry in 2001, and joined Martin/Wight in 2012. He focuses on developing comprehensive financial strategies for physician and dentist clients throughout the country and helping families reach their long-term financial goals.
Prior to joining Martin/Wight, Paul worked as a disability insurance specialist for Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. He brings to Martin/Wight unique industry knowledge in a diverse market.
Paul earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. He currently lives in Baltimore, and is an avid sports enthusiast. When he is not working, Paul enjoys playing golf, lacrosse, football, and snowboarding.

Harvey has been in the financial industry since 2007 and joined Martin/Wight in 2010. His focus as a financial advisor is creating comprehensive financial strategies for clients, including investment management, insurance products, and overall portfolio management.
Harvey currently serves on the board of his high school alma mater, Boys’ Latin School of Maryland. He is also a founding member of the Columbia chapter of Business Networking International.

Ron started working in the financial services industry in 1999 and joined Martin / Wight in 2008. Ron focuses on developing financial strategies for physician clients and their families throughout the country. He helps clients with their retirement plans, financial strategies and investments, risk management and debt management. Ron regularly reviews clients portfolios and policies assessing for changes in objectives and risk tolerance and is known for delivering impeccable service and follow-through.
Before joining Martin/Wight, Ron worked as director of operations at HCC, where he led and negotiated strategic business alliances with Banks and Accredited Investors to finance development/investment portfolio.With his diverse market and industry knowledge, he was also responsible for budget planning, financing and asset management, while always keeping an eye on the horizon to anticipate economic climates and market changes.
Ron is a board member of Chester River QDMA Co-op and his homeowner association. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in resource management and earned a master’s in Management from West Virginia University.
Ron is an outdoor enthusiast and loves deep sea fishing, skiing, hiking and golf. Ron lives in Baltimore with his wife Jen, and their two children, Mason and Ethan.

Before working at Martin/Wight & Co. Chris spent time in the private equity field with Penta Mezzanine Fund in Orlando, FL and then moved to Northwestern Mutual as a financial advisor. Chris now works with physician clients and their practices throughout the country, helping his clients execute appropriate financial strategies. He assists clients with their retirement planning, financial strategies, investments, risk management, and debt management. Chris is passionate about creating long-lasting impactful relationships with his clients and their families through the tackling of complicated financial planning issues.
Chris graduated from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, where he skied on the alpine race team. He lives in Manhattan, and in his free time loves to stay active by playing in rec softball leagues, singing, and getting away to ski whenever possible.

Phil began working in the financial industry in 1993. He spent many of those years as an institutional equity trader managing risk positions in the markets for several Wall Street firms. After joining Morgan Stanley as an advisor in 2010, he decided to join Martin/Wight & Company in October 2012. Phil graduated from Denson University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
Phil enjoys playing golf and being involved with his children's many sports activities. He currently lives in Baltimore with his wife Kristy, and their three children, Lily, George and Isabel.

As the Sales Manager for Martin/Wight, Jake directly manages our team of financial advisors while recruiting new talent to the firm.
Prior to entering the financial services industry in 2005, Jake served five years in the Air Force as an officer in the Medical Service Corps. He then joined the Executive Development Program at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company and worked in various areas of the company. In 2007 Jake joined Martin/Wight and was named Sales Manager in 2010.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the US Air Force Academy and a MBA from Babson College. He also holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation.

Heather McDonald joined Martin/Wight & Company in 2015 as a financial professional. She focuses on producing disability insurance plans specifically for physicians. Her goal is to assist physicians in protecting their income and reaching their financial goals. Heather initially began her career by selling and managing national business accounts in telecommunications. There she ranked in the top one percent nationwide for five years and had an excellent reputation with her clients in product knowledge and customer care. Next, she transitioned into vaccine and wound care sales where she worked with physicians on the latest products available.
Heather earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from William Woods University in Missouri. Heather currently resides in Denver, Colorado with her husband Kevin and their two sons. Heather is an outdoor enthusiast and loves hiking, cycling, and snowshoeing with her friends and family.

Steve started working in the financial services industry in 2001 when he joined Martin/Wight. Prior to joining Martin/Wight, Steve was a mechanical engineer and worked as both a technical sales engineer and a project/design engineer. Steve graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering. He also holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation.
Steve lives in Phoenix, MD, with his wife, Kerri, and their four children. Steve volunteers for various activities at the kids’ school and enjoys coaching youth soccer and basketball.

Jessica began her career with a private equity company ten years ago. Over the last ten years, she has worked in the financial services and banking industries specializing in business development and marketing.
In 2014, Jessica became a Financial Advisor with AIG in Baltimore before joining Martin-Wight in early 2016. As a Registered Representative, Jessica assists her physician clients with risk management and comprehensive financial planning. She is dedicated to delivering high-quality client service and helping her clients achieve their financial goals.
Jessica graduated from Wake Forest University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, running, singing, skiing and traveling.
David has been with Martin/Wight throughout his entire financial career and has grown with the company since 2002 as a financial advisor. He builds comprehensive financial planning strategies for his physician and dentist clients throughout the country, helping families reach their long-term financial goals.
In addition to working with individuals, David helps medical and dental practices implement their retirement plans and benefit offerings.
David earned his Bachelor’s of Science in business administration with a concentration on finance from Towson University. He is an Investment Advisor Representative of MML Investors Services, LLC and is working towards completing his ChFC designation.
David lives in Baltimore with his wife, Lauren, their children, Dylan, Liv, Fiona, and their dog, Lucy. When he’s not working, David loves to travel, try out new restaurants, and, above all else, root for the Ravens.

His main areas of focus for his clients are the development of retirement plans and investment strategies, in-depth analysis of risk management and debt management, and ongoing portfolio review to assess and proactively adapt to changes.
Before joining Martin/Wight, Jay worked with Capital Financial Partners and was a Registered Investment Advisor of Hornor, Townsend & Kent, Inc.
He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland College Park and went on to earn his Masters in Public Administration from the University of Baltimore School of Public Policy, as well as a Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He is a member of the Maryland Bar Association, the York County Chamber of Commerce, and volunteers extensively with the York County Heritage Trust.

Brian works with physician clients and their practices throughout the country, helping his clients execute appropriate financial strategies. He assists clients with their retirement plans and planning, financial strategies and investments, risk management and debt management. Brian is known for his client oriented approach and a blended analytical and practical strategy to tackling complicated financial planning.
Before joining Martin/Wight, Brian spent a decade practicing law as an attorney in the financial services industry. His experience with complex individual and corporate financial matters, including representing clients in private equity capital raises with multiple classes of stock as well as senior and subordinate secured and unsecured debt facilities, allows Brian to leverage a unique prospective when advising individual clients and physician practices.
Brian also previously served on the board of directors for a national, non-profit financial services industry trade association. In that role, his attention to detail, creative thinking skills and ability to distill complicated financial topics into easily understandable terms led to his appointment as the Legislative Director of the national association. As the Legislative Director, Brian became a registered industry lobbyist, testified as a subject matter expert before numerous state legislators and met with state and federal regulators on matters relating to credit and debt.
When not on the road meeting with clients across the country, Brian lives in Baltimore, Maryland with his wife, son and daughter.
